CHHA 1610 Toronto Heard In Wyoming

Congrats on hearing CHHA. I'd mentioned in another thread that I had a tentative reception of them last weekend here in Houston. After a tip from jim_satx on a reliable stream (thanks Jim!), I was able to confirm via // that I was hearing them Sunday night just before midnight CST and again on Monday evening at 6pm CST.

It's helpful that I don't have any TIS stations closer than ~40 miles from me. Not many frequencies this clear in this part of the world.

I can hear them in the late afternoon here in Atlanta. What really helps them is the lower background noise in the top end of the band.

CHHA has been heard out here a few times too, but I have TIS interference. DOT operates many HARs on 1610khz, including one right here in Ellensburg.

Great catch, RadioGuy!

Even though it's probably easier to hear an Ontario station there than it would be to hear a Wyoming station in Ontario, hi.

CHHA is the onliest 1610 I have logged here.

(Although I *am* officially counting a talking house station I once heard in Pottsville. That was within the 10-mile radius of my home so it's legit :)

I heard CHHA on one of the Iceland SDRs a few weeks back. Weak, but steady. Not much else from North America, but plenty from Europe.
