Chicago Radio ratings report for January 2020

The Chicago radio ratings are out for the month of January and Robert Feder has published his report https://www.robertfeder.com/2020/02...atings-93-9-lite-fm-notches-historic-victory/ , somehow in the month of January WLIT took first palce for stations ranked from Monday to Sunday. WBBM took first place for mornings, with The Mix taking second place. WGN Radio took #6 with new morning. WGN Radio also took place #9 in middays with the team of John Williams, Ji Suk Yi, and Anna Davlantes, even through John Williams starts at 9 AM. But they don't even rack in the top ten for either afternoon drive, or evening drive, as Roe Conn must chase away listeners, and they forget to put WHGN Radio back on at night, or if the Chicago Blackhawks don't seem to much help either, and why not since they are not having a good season.
 
In Adults 25-54 and 18-34, 101.9 The Mix and 100.3 WSHE cleaned up. The recent rise of 100.3 WSHE, I think, should be treated as a much bigger story.

This is Robert Feder's report so he posts in the artcle what he thinks is news worthy to put out in the actual article of it. Like when you look at WGN Radio they are only in the top then for morning and middays, nd that is it as Roe Conn nobody is listing to his show that would help it to be in the top ten afternoon shows, as mostly when you look at them music dis on fm stations, where the top two epxections are WBBM, and WBEZ.

What are "adits"? WLIT is an AC station that plays music that a lot of people -- none of whom obsess over radio, though -- love. Why should such a station have to bribe people to somehow game the Nielsens?

It is pretty fishy that they would have ratings this could after the Christmas season, as many of the voices such as Elvis Presley, and Bingo Crosby are heard on the station during Christmas time, and maybe even Frank Sinatra. January would be the month that I would think return them to their usual ratings again until next November.
