Chicago "score" 670 getting killed...

...this morning by Cuba. Normally it's easily receivable in NorthEast.

I tuned in a few hours late for the WABC SP, QED, but tuned around anyway.

WSB Atlanta was one of the loudest stations on the dial ; my location has no locals at night. Northerners CFZM 740, WBZ 1030 and WBBM 780 were very weak. Some Auroral cx probably were afoot. No doubt, others here will know more.

Last night was pretty auroral, with Cubans not normally heard being uncovered in the midwest. The multiple Rebeldes would be no surprise.

Conditions were odd last night. Earlier in the evening it was mostly Mexico, Cuba, and other southern stuff dominating. I checked again before bed at around 11 and WBZ was completely dominating 1030 with XEQR barely audible underneath.

From south Overland Park, Kansas:

WSCR gets slammed by a Cuban signal here fairly often at night or surprisingly, they simply disappear. They can also be strong, highly dependent on conditions. Very unpredictable. WGN, WBBM and WLS vary as well but they are more reliable.
