Chicago's Kanye West Is An Ass

Contrary to what The Self Proclaimed Genius thinks, there are plenty of non-blacks that havent been rescued in New Orleans yet, either. Somebody needs to muzzle this idiot. First the AIDS comment, then the gay comment and now this? Shut your broken pie hole, Kanye and stick to speeding up R&B records and rapping about how much you love your Mama.

Radio should boycott his overrated records. What a buffoon.

All Kanye is doing is taking a page out of Aftermath Record's book...controversy sells...

It's no coincidence that 'Ye has been so outspoken in the last couple of weeks, yet since "College Dropout"'s sales started to fizzle, we haven't heard a word from him. While I am personally a West fan, I do agree his once only arrogant mouth has simply become annoying. It was slightly amusing at first, hearing what outlandish thing would come out of his head, but it has now crossed the line into absurd.

I don't personally agree with keeping his music off the air, but maybe a microphone out of his face would be a good start. Then again, as long as the sales continue, its easy to believe that the nonsense will as well....

Believe it or not Eggs Danny Thomas is a Hip-Hop head and K.W. is a genius, i'm not partial because he's from Chicago.

Most of the people are black, this is america and (for now) we still have freedom of speech, but You want to put a muzzle on a man, hmmmm

> First the AIDS comment, then the gay comment and now this?

Just last week K.W. was on MTV saying that homophobia is terrible -- you disagree?

> Shut your broken pie hole, Kanye and stick to speeding up
> R&B records and rapping about how much you love your Mama.

He used Fiona Apple's producer for this new album because he didn't want to repeat the same old sped up record thing from 3 years ago.

> Radio should boycott his overrated records. What a buffoon.

You sound like a "College Dropout" with these comments, it's not too late for "Late Regestration"

BUT SERIOUSLY, go to the OFF THE AIR section and you'll find that most of us agree in one way or another with what Kanye had to say good for him.

Re: Let people make up their own mind regarding the aforementioned comments...

Doug Fleming and I shared a love for the DrudgeReport.COM, and I have always steered clear of any political issues, but it is noted that WEST ON NBC FUNDRAISER: 'GEORGE BUSH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE... They're saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food...they're giving the (Army) permission to shoot us'... Actor Mike Myers asked people to donate... then Kanye West went on a tirade about Iraq... MORE...

Probably trying to impress Jesse Jackson or something.

Personally I don't get why this whole thing is getting into political arguements. These people should focus more on the victims then argueing over politics.

As for Kanye West's other comments, I will back his gay comment.

His AIDS comment is laughable.

His music is over rated.
______________

I can never figure Drudge out. Sometimes his headlines are worse than what the story really is. Sometimes he's pro-Bush, sometimes he's anti-Bush. Sometimes he supports the war, sometimes he doesn't.

One thing is for sure, he injects something into those headlines that grab your attention. His headline on the Kanye story is really worse than what the guy did. But I love Drudge, he's great -- and certainly a pioneer in several fields (journalism, internet).

What I'm really curious about is his choice of music on his Sunday night radio show. House music, classic underground disco and campy torch songs. Oh and he has Ron Howard Syndrome. Always wears a baseball hat, no matter what type of event he's at.

He is over rated, and I am all about Hip Hop so I am credible.

Besides that, wrong place at the wrong time. Besides that, if a person is going to go on national TV and blow script to make heated political statements, one better do it like Al Sharpton at the DNC and do it with FORCE. Don't show that you are NERVOUS and STUMBLING all over yourself. That just makes you look like a bigger idiot.

I just saw that video, what an A HOLE! Listen, I am a Kanye fan, I loved his first album, second album is weak. Doesn't even compare to the 1st. He got too big of a head to quick. All the awards went right to his head. How can the U.S still be so racist? Every song on the radio is from a black artist. Every video on MTV is from a black artist, clothes, tv, movies, WTF GUYS! If anything, black culture is dominent in the entertainment industry. Whats the #1 rated FM station in Chicago? WGCI. This is BS. Louisiana is a poor southern state. Unfortunitly, most of the poor people there are black. No matter if it were white, asian, black, the same exact thing would of happened. It really pisses me off when they make it racial. BTW, I hope Kanye gets some really bad press over this. I, personally, am done listening to his music. Once an artist I like goes political, then F them. I want to hear your music, not your politics. I don't give a Sh$T what you think of Bush.

I have no idea who this kanye west is and have never listened to any song he has done....mike myers looked damned uncomfortable, i will say that....west is entitled to his opinion....and candidly, there is truth to it...i would go further to say that the President doesnt care about poor people in general...and as long as we are being honest...jesse jackson doesnt care about white people

I believe he was playing to a group of people he believed existed. He obviously has become the touchy feely thug-ghetto-savior and believes that by saying these things shows he's caring about "his" people. I didn't know any group of people belonged to anyone. He's just another fool in the many of hip hop artists who believe their own guilty white folks words. If anything, white folks fall all over themselves to show they like black folks by agreeing with many in the black community who speak for themselves as opposed to me and others

Enough with Kanye to the West side.

I'm not a white guy.

Not suprising, when MOST OF THE POPULATION OF NEW ORLEANS IS BLACK!!! That is NOT racism, it is the law of statistics.
