Chicago's Mike North joins FSR

North was a co-host on the morning "news"/sports show on CBS' WBBM-TV in Chicago...WBBM just announced last week that it's canceling that show, and going back to a more traditional morning news program. Pretty good that North lined up a new gig in pretty short notice.

North is terrible nut he would be an improvement over PMS, Then again a Screaming 3 year old having a tantrum would be better than any of those jokers on FSR

As You travel around the country listening to sportsradio, one thing is very clear. Some guys may be popular locally, but would never play nationally. They either have thick accents (ny guys especially) or have little depth beyond their local teams.
Mike North is one of those guys. He feels Chicago which is exactly why he works in that city and why he will never transcend it.

Well said. As someone with no particular connection to Chicago, he's unlistenable.
