Chicago's newest Oldies station is......

.....Love 100.3 becomes BIG 100.3 "The Biggest hits of the 60's and 70's

or.... WZZN becomes Musicradio WLS-FM " The Greatest Hits of All Time"

Take your pick....which one will it be?

I'll take neither thanks. Oh for 100 Alex.

... but, thanks for playing.

...one that (should it ever come into being) play hits recorded between 1975 and 1990.

I severely doubt that Chicago will ever have a big-signal FM oldies station ever again.

However, I think the format does have at least a few years left in it if it's programmed and presented well.

Don't be too cute here. Love FM may actually benefit from this move if they keep slipping in uptempo songs. Sure it goes against all the principles of Love Songs but then it's radio, nothing means what it says anyways.

I think WZZN to Oldies as WLS-FM would be a very SMART move.

Real Oldies 1690 WRLL

Thats the way it is, thats the way it will stay.

Still in shock that WJMK, or Magic or Oldies 104.3 or whatever you want to call it is gone :(

There you go! I agree. Then they can bring in some of the WJMK Jocks
Fred Winston, Dick Biondi, Greg Brown, John Landecker and lets throw
in former WLS Jocks Larry Lujack and LIL Tommy.<P ID="signature">______________
