I was just wondering if anyone had heard Chick McGee of the Bob and Tom Show while he had his own show in San Diego? What was the reason for him leaving his own show? Was it any good?

No, not the Bob and Tom Show. Chick McGee was the only person there, as he hosted his own show.
A little update, evidently the show was called Kevin & McGee. It aired on 101.7 KGB-FM.

I do remember them at 101.5 KGB. I believe they were here under the Brown Broadcasting name.

O.K. Through my purple haze I seem to remember a brief time when this jerk was on KGB before the truly awful "Brian & Jack" really killed mornings on KGB. Those were the "dark years" when Dave, Shelly & Chainsaw defected to Rock 102, with it's fabulous underground transmitter. 8)

Why do you considered him a jerk, just out of curiosity? Was the show any good (assuming it wasn't since he came back to Bob and Tom).

The original KGB Chicken was Bill Degischer, who is still sales exec with KGB-FM
