Chickboss Lands At DC-FM

Does KNIX have a PD yet? Shouldn't they be looking for one instead of for a news/talk AM? And would they have the guts to hire one who could blow the country competition out of the water? All these questions and more...

If you smoke too much pot and actually pursue this job, I'd strongly suggest wearing a life preserver, because this station's ship is sinking faster than the Titanic. And given the company that owns it, I don't like its chances.

I know it's meaningless 6+ numbers, but I'm seeing 3.0-3.2-3.8 and a 30,000 increase in cume fro
September to November.

My, my...a little hard on the ol bean counters at CC! The cluster call letters may be on the wall, but the stations are gone. Just the way it is either side of the purple mountain majesties these days.

You don't have to be suckin' on what grows behind the Media Hut to realize this is a lose-lose opportunity. Without a commitment to put KFWhyEye on FM (not HD-2 or HD-3), this station at 55 with have nothing but 55+ listeners until they either die off or can't handle the weight of a PPM!

Having said all that, Nurse Jeff and I predict there will be a mountain of resumes down at Van Buren for this job ;D
