OMG this is now on XM 60's, I hated it when it was new and now its on again. Does anyone remember what stations in Philly carried this awful show. I think it was WFIL, I do remember WJRZ beating it to death.

Chicken Man ran on WIP back in the days of Ken Garland, Bill Weber, Tom Moran, etc. I thought, and still do, that it was great, very creative, and funny.

Dick Orkin was the voice of CM and his cast did many funny commercials over the years and all with the same creativity and humor.

bock, bock, bock, baaaaaaak!

The White-winged warrior returns? When is it on? I normally only listen to XM60's for "The Beatles A to Zed". Orkin's stuff was, and still is, the best. Dick actually began his radio career at WKOK in Sunbury, Pa.

Scissors and I disagree yet again. What a shock!

Chicken Man (and his cousin The Tooth Fairy) were heard on WAMS in Wilmington (the real WAMS, not the new imitation) in the early 70s. Joe Farley raided the vaults when he "brought back" the "old" WAMS in '87 and played the program---no doubt without Dick Orkin knowing about it.

Dick Orkin was also responsible for the great Keystone Volvo spots of yesteryear that had a story...I remember the one where the 40 year old kid dressed up in a cowboy outfit and "bang bang" was dragged by his mother there to apply for a job

I am the proud owner of the complete collection of CHICKEN MAN! It was funny then and it's funny now. Does anyone know ehere I can get my hands on the Mel Blanc SUPERFUN Series? It origibally was distributed on records(Remember THOSE?).
