Chill Music Shows, looking for info

Hi. I am the Radio Kid. I normally don’t hang out here, but I’m looking for some information, and am wondering if you might be able to help. Some of you may have heard of Chill Music. WQCD tried it 5 years ago (has it been that long already?) and KLBU before that. I know that Chill Music can be labeled in 2 catigories. I’ve heard it talked about as the next Smooth Jazz, but have also seen it listed on my satellite radio under the dance category. I’m an avid dance music fan, and I can tell you that we in the dance music community don’t view Chill as a form of dance music. I know that Chill isn’t Smooth Jazz persee, but I hope you can accomidate me, anyway.

I found Chill music on my satellite radio 2 years ago. I fell in love with it instantly. The only thing I didn’t like was the XM version was not heavy on Vocal Chill, which I think I would like best. Well, I moved into my current apartment, and my XM doesn’t work. So, I’m looking for some online listening options. I read a few years ago that some radio stations air Chill music on Sundays, and that those presentations are very Vocal heavy. However, I do not know what stations these shows are on. Does anyone know of a good chill show or channel (terestrial preferably, but also internet only will do too) that carries a vocal heavy Chill presentation? Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation to Groovera. I’ve listened to it, and, even though the Jet City channel isn’t as vocal in presentation as I’d like, it’s not bad. It’s very similar to the old “XM Chill.”

However, now that I have internet, I’m still looking for a very vocal chill show or channel. As I said in my last post here, I know some radio stations cary chill specialty shows. If anyone knows of any of these stations, please let me know. With the internet offering so many options, there must be some show or channel still in existence that features a vocal chill presentation. Any assistance is appreciated. P.S. Listening to Jet City (Groovera) as I write this.
