Via e-mail from Manon Hennesy:

Dear friends of China,

China's memorial service has been scheduled for this Saturday (details and directions below).

I'm sorry I could not give you more notice, but I just received the official word.

I am under the weather, so please contact China's friend Cain in West L.A. to RSVP, and if you need additional information. He can be reached at [email protected] , or you can phone him at (310) 398-6884.

If you are aware of any friend of China's who was inadvertently left out of the loop, please feel free to share this information.

Thank you,

Manon Hennesy

Follow-up

There were a couple of dozen people at the memorial service, including Shadoe Stevens, Don Elliot, "Insane" Darrell Wayne, Manon Hennesy, Sioux-z Jessup, Amy Hiatt, Don Barrett, and myself.

Many fond memories shared, much of China's computer artwork displayed, an aircheck of some of his work both here and in his native Grand Rapids, and a toast with his "drink of choice", Vernors ginger ale.

Thanks to AFTRA for allowing their boardroom to be used for this.<P ID="signature">______________
