Chingedy ching!!! Hee-haw!!! Hee-haw!!! It's Dominick The Donkey!!!

Is it me or am I hearing Lou Monte's Dominick more often this year, especially on Lite Rock 105. It's funny because someone said earlier in another post about 105 having the most serious Christmas music and the other station playing more of the silly songs. What's interesting is that I have heard it most often on Art Spencer's Nite Light Love Song Show. ??? Boun Natale!

Ok, I will admit it, I always reach for this one when I get the chance to give it a spin on air. It is fun! It pokes a little fun at my families heritage...... in the words of Sgt. Hulka from Stripes...."lighten up Francis"

I usually take my elderly Mom on her errands Sundays & she's discovered Viva Italia on WELH so naturally I have to sit through all 27 versions of Al Di La but they also play Lou Monte's other Christmas song Santa Nicola. Now if the voice guy would realize Italia doesn't have a Y in it. As far as Domenic requests on Night Light, in Providence a song about a donkey is considered to be a love song.
