For those who knew him from Q-106, Magic and 93-3, I wanted to pass along info that he, Shawn and the kids are fine and no harm has come to anyone. However, he is dealing with issues of a very personal nature and chose to return to Philly. Thought you may wanna know.

So now what are they gonna do?

Wow indeed! However, I think he was here long enough for this to qualify as his second longest stint with Rick Thomas! All kidding aside, glad he's OK. Hope RT is able to fill the role soon.

yes I saw that too. Does anyone have any details on this? and what is chio going to do now? is he coming back to q102 in philly. Im pretty sure he left on good terms

Why not you JoJo? Seems like you'd be a good fit?
Or maybe Dave Smiley? Not sure he'd fit the demo, but I bet he'd love to come back to San Diego! He might even give Jeff and Jer a run for their money?

Just a thought...

I think Smiley is having a good run in Indy... what's the incentive to leave?<P ID="signature">______________

If I were given the choice between going to work in 7 degree or 70 degree weather in the dead of January, for a similar salary? Yeah, you know what I would pick! Plus, isn't San Diego a bigger market?

And besides, I am convinced Smiley would eat up the San Diego morning competition this time around!

Not sure if anyone has thought of this but Kid and Ruben from Kiss FM in phoenix are free agents. They did not renew their contract but just thought of something, is Z90 owned by clear channel? If so, you can cross out Kid and Ruben! Kid got suspended in September for comments on the hurricane and never returned.

Z90 used to be operated by Clear Channel but no longer. They just got taken over by a local company Finest City Broadcasting.

Hmmm thats interesting, Kid and Ruben could make the switch over to San Diego. Check out their my space accounts links at www.kidandruben.com. They have many loyal listeners and they have posted some info about what happened at Kiss.

Kid and Ruben used to work with Rick Thomas in the past at KPTY in Phoenix several years ago when they were "Arizona's Party Station".
