Baltimore Talker Chip Franklin's show (I caught the first hour) was not all that bad....definitely a good respite from Rick Roberts who I have really enjoyed in the past. Rick is just getting too darn grumpy and keeps on hammering to death the same subjects (as others have noted).
The one shocker I had this morning was the lack of ads and how eventually Chip Franklin during his monologue slipped into a spoken commercial for AT&T. He started talking about how he was yet to get landline phone service at his home..."and of course, it is going to be with AT&T...the same people who in the past have brought us Cingular wireless.." yada yada yada. I haven't heard a spoken live commercial in years!
Overall I'd give him a B for the show.
