I don't get how CHR is getting to be so popular on the dial today. More stations have flipped in the last year than ever. Every one I've heard online and a few that aren't, sound pretty much the same. This kind of music is not the greatest in my opinion....it really gets on my nerves at times so am not sure why lots of other people like it.

There is still a handful of CHRs who have not gotten online streams yet either - you would think this format being so popular every station would be online getting their word out but no. All these format flips just tell me people don't like variety in their music. they just want to hear the same songs being played over and over again though it changes monthly. What a disgrace that is. Thoughts?
 
Not to flame, but are you in the target CHR demo? Everyone has different tastes. I personally like the music in the format a lot more now than where it was a few years ago, but that's just me.
