Looking at the latest trends no one is really running away with the CHR audience. So far KZON has had a bigger impact on ZZP than Power. I never understood why the decided to go in a more mainstream direction just as Power was moving to a smaller stick, making themselves vulnerable to a situation like this. Looks as if the movin audience has also jumped over to KZON in recent months.

there is another contender going up, with a VERY similar format (minus the white cheese). Did anybody catch those desperate spots during the AMA's?I too thought if they would hae stayed as a Mainstream/Rhythmic hybrid they could have blocked competition. KZON is a really solid sounding station musically that came in at just the right time to fill the hole that existed in the market.
