CHRF Watch.

Earlier in the month, CHRF dropped the Radio Fierte (pride radio format) after only 10 months. It was a non-commercial format that didn't subscribe to the BBM ratings, nor was it ever listed. The entire airstaff was out and they went all Christmas with (assumed) brokered Haitian programming on weekends, which actually has advertising. Earlier today it was easy listening with the occasional Christmas track thrown in, and Haitian programming in the afternoon. A new format is expected to launch in the coming days.

It appears the station is now easy listening with some Haitian programming on the weekends. There are still no announcers outside the Haitian hours.
