They have posted some videos on youtube, featuring the Q jocks from the mid-80s, and a couple with Ira Joe Fisher including an part from an Easter Seals telethon showing Randy Michaels and Alan Gardner. Brings back some memories of Cincinnati radio and TV. here is the link http://www.youtube.com/user/ChrisAndJaneen

These 2 are the reason many of us quit listening to WGRR. There constant babbling prompted me to by an XN radio.

Ahh. The joys of 'XN' listening. Isn't that the new niche sat service for curmudgeons?

FRR, that's great. Except that "many" must not bee "TOO many" because the station - and the morning show - continue to perform well.

I understand that their ratings continue to do well, I'm not denying that at all. There are still some of us that enjoy music on the radio, instead of blab blab blab, and in my humble opinion, those 2 are the worst. I'll stick to my XM or my Ipod.

Yet, here you are, still commenting on a thread about local radio. Fascinating.

Let me understand your logic. If I don't like what you like, I have no right to comment. This Board is all abut comments. Some agree some don't agree. But it shouldn't make any difference. I've listened to Cincinnati radio since rock and roll, (are you old enough to remember that term), was played on Cinci radio, whether it was WNOP or WSAI or several other stations. I don't work in the business, never have, and love to read and oftentimes learn from the folks who post here. I've made some friends from this site, and we don't always agree either, but that's okay too. I wish I was sorry for violating your sensibilities by daring to say that I didn't like Chris and Janeen, but I don't really care what you think. You certainly have the right to post, that's for sure. But don't try to criticize me or suggest that I shouldn't post just because I would like to see more music in the morning and less blab. I have no desire to further debate you on this subject. End of story.

WOW, didn't mean to pop that scab. You completely misread my intentions.... you have every right to comment on anything you please. I'm fascinated that someone who professes to not listen to local radio still wants to talk about it. I tell people every day that local radio matters, and now I can use your post to back up my comments. Thanks...
