If Chris was smart (well actually he probably is, but just play along here) he'd realize that with his age and family obligations it is not wise to pursue another radio gig unless he's also developing an alternative career. I see too many guys keeping wanting just one more chance to grab the brass ring and before they know it, they are getting yet another of the inevitable radio pinkslips and have reached an age when the offers just stop coming.
I've said before, "a recession is when everyone gets to face the kind of job insecurity radio people always have," so this is not the best year for transitioning to something else, but just about anything else has a better chance of a future than being a disk jockey.
