Chris Carter leaves Star 94!

Last week he was doing afternoon traffic for Kim Fitz who was filling in for Greg Tallmadge who was on vacation. I think Kim Fitz is getting married this weekend or next.

Any word on who stays and who goes once the Cumulus is official? I have heard some of the sales weasels and managers are nervous at both Cumulus and Citadel. Which cluster has to move into the others studios? I hope Chris has a good contract with some kind of $$ if his job goes away.

When one company buys another the buyer will usally want their people in there,I don't see Kicks or Atlanta's Greatest Hits going anywhere, they are in good spot at 210 Interstate Northparkway.

Chris sounds great on Kicks. They are lucky to have him. Great swing/utility guy. Both K and Hits (which will switch to something else immediately) will move to the Havertys building. Techincally Cumulus would ony need to build one studio for K. Or Q will move to new studio and K to Q studio. 680 will get 106 frequency or 100.5 to 106 and 680 will get 100.5 signal. K and Q female combo sell will be like taking candy from a baby

Having 680 the Fan on 100.5 or 106.7 would be a really good idea. Given the lack of good AM reception the further away from the perimeter you go at night, this would give them a huge leg up on 790 the Zone.

Maybe 100.5 but not 106.7. I know it is just the 6+ but look at the ratings, 106.7 has almost a 50% more cume hours. 106.7 is cheap to run compared to an all news or sports talk.
