Chris Engel back on the air

I was listening to Oldies 98.9 this morning and it appears that Citadel-Worcester is finally putting some effort into the neglected step child in the Worcester cluster. Chris Engel is now doing the news and seemed to be a part of the morning show. At several points while I was listening between 6 & 7, Adam Webster and Chris were doing the usual morning show banter about life, etc.

In addition, they have added a contest geared to the morning show apparently trying to keep the listeners interest. Oldies 98.9 seems to have been forgotten since The Pike came onto the scene in Worcester so I was surprised to hear the new additions.

Speaking of The Pike, Chris Engel is doing double duty with local news and sports at the top and bottom of the hour during morning drive. Finally a live voice at The Pike; could a morning show be next?
 
I thought he had a lot to do with the pike when it first went up
(or what it was before) as the PD?

I like him its been ages since I have heard him though.
