Chris Parker & Amy VanDyken move to The Peak

98.7 The Peak, the Valley’s most consistent ratings performer over the past six years, announced today the hiring of Chris Parker and Amy Van Dyken to anchor the station’s morning drive-time programming.

“Chris and Amy Mornings on The Peak” will debut December 17th and will air between 5:30am and 10:00am each weekday morning. Parker and Van Dyken were the Valley’s number one rated morning show prior to joining The Peak.

“The addition of Chris and Amy is a hand-in-glove fit for The Peak. They’re quick-witted and fast-paced, yet down-to-earth,” said Peak Program Director Phil Manning. “And that allows them to connect on a one-to-one level with our audience, which is no small feat given that we reach about a million Valley residents each week! I’m looking forward to them starting our broadcast day with warmth – a smile – and, of course, the largest music library in the Valley at their fingertips.”

Why not move Brian Allen to mornings on Mix? He seems to have awesome ratings in the Drive shift and has filled in on mornings from time to time.

If I remember right, Bryan did mornings on KVRY. I think he is the logical choice to take over mornings on Mix.
