Scarborough's recently syndicated show will air from 10AM-Noon starting Monday on 630 WMAL, according to DCRTV.com. The Grandy and Andy Show will now air from 5AM-10AM, and Chris Plante has been let go. This can only be viewed as an unfortunate destruction of local talk in the DC market, and the worst part is that Plante's show is being replaced by a syndicated show that places #2 among talk stations on its flagship, WABC, in New York with adults 25-54 with Glenn Beck on WOR beating Scarborough. I imagine the syndicated Laura Ingraham show on WTNT is very happy about this decision because there is no doubt WMAL listeners will change the station to hear a real conservative rather than a RINO like Scarborough.
