Anyone know what happened to Chris ... he'd been in O-Town for quite awhile; not on the air or website anymore.
 
Great, hanging out at the lame ass Classic hits garbage format. What a waste..............
 
hahahah i feel for the guy. the eagle sucks. i'm glad we do not have that here. i like sunny... anyway, i hope chris enjoys himself in jax.
 
What exactly does an AMD do? Can't program music, that's done from Atlanta and consultants with a horribly tight playlist. Can't schedule weekend/swing talent, that's all voice tracked now. Can't do giveaways, that's controlled by the PD or worse yet, some promotions hack.

AMD (Assistant Music Director), so then what exactly does the MD (Music Director) do? Someone please make this God awful format go away, boomers don't want to hear the same tired Fleetwood Mac songs over and over and over and over............. :(
 
Vadar, I might be off here, but I believe they were saying AMD as Morning Drive. AM D(rive).
 
Homer29, how silly of me. Gee, doing mornings at that piece of crap station certainly requires much more thought and ability. Wait until the new AMD gets a call on the snotline from Atlanta telling him to make sure the play list leans harder or softer for that quarter hour.

What a great opportunity, claaaaaaaaaaaaaaasic hits. Oh brother, please play the Dobbies one more time, puh-leeze. Oh, and that "new van" is sooooooooooo cool. Can I get a sticker and a t-shirt Mr. AMD?
 
I am happy that Chris ended up in Jacksonville. I worked with him for ten years at WHTQ, and he and I were let go at the same time.(love those budget cuts) The great thing is we both ended up in better situations. Everything happens for a reason, and I wish Chris nothing but continued success.
 
Please, please, please tell me you didn't wind up at a crap station like "classic hits" too? Better situation? You just went from market # 39 to #47, tourist mecca to hick town, same crap company. How is that a better situation? Oh yeah, they do budget cuts in Jax too. Good luck with that................Hope you got plan B in effect..........

Ummm....I went to a better radio station in a small time hick town that you might be familiar with....Los Angeles. I know it's not playing "classic hits at a crap station in tourist town", but I'm happy.
