Chris Willis - Louder

This just randomly got an add on Q102.. .any chance of this becoming big? I wonder why they are following up with this one after Getting Over You instead of Memories..

Could it be that you're not following the bouncing ball?

CHR doesn't see "Getting Over You" as a David Guetta 'song'. They see it as a Fergie song with others including Chris Willis.
David Guetta's "Memories" doesn't have Chris Willis on it.
"Louder" is a Willis solo project.

so... Q102 who lives and breathes NE believes that their audience may connect with the CW song.

If it tests well, you'll see others jump on it.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Nice to see a station giving Chris Willis a shot. I wonder if any others will follow suit.

Mikeo pretty well said it,, when one of our area CHRs started playing LOVE IS GONE,, the DJS and all the kids thought it was Guetta Singing,, and it didnt help that most the DJs and all the kids did, and still do call him David Goodoe or David Gutta...

We have to find away to teach the CHR audience about Dance music, and the difference between the DJs and Producers, who usually get the credit over the vocalist's,, which I think is wrong in two ways,,, NUMBER ONE- the vocalist deserves credit .. Number two,, it confuses the CHR and Rhythmic audience,, thats why we need to figure out how to educate the general public,, Back in the early to mid 90s, and late 80s,, it was all about the artists and bands,,, people were correct when they would hear a song from FOR INSTANCE Expose,,, that it was in fact a band performing the song.

Same goes for a number of dance records where the artist was actually the singer.
