Chris Wragge moves to The Early Show

It has been reported that Chris Wragge and Erica Hill will move from The Saturday Early Show to the weekday edition, replacing Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez (who will reportedly remain at CBS in some capacity).

Lonnie Smith will not be moving as Marysol Castro (formerly of GMA Weekend) will replace Dave Price.

Jeff Glor will be the new newsreader on the weekday show.

No word on staffing for the weekend show or what will happen to Wragge's role at WCBS.

Why is CBS' Early Show just SO low-rated? Is it because it had to deal with a cavalcade of weak predecessors?
