Chris Zito moves to Springfield

Chris Zito can add another station and on-air partner to his resume. According to Scott Fybush and www.mix931.com, Zito is now doing mornings with another Karen on WHYN-FM in Springfield, MA. www.mix931.com

Previously, he was fairly shortlived with Karen Blake on WODS/Boston and spent several years with Jen Carter on WXLO/Worcester. Hppe it works out although 'Mix' to me tends to mean lots of music and not alot of talk and Zito likes to talk.

I noticed that Mix 93.1 has changed its branding and logo as well. The new station logo looks a lot like the Mix 106.1 logo from Phily. I'm guessing it's the new Clear Channel standard.

Lately it seems saying the "point" is not cool anymore. It's just "Mix Ninety Three One" now. ABC Radio -> Citadel -> Cumulus' Mix 107.3 in DC did the same thing recently ("Mix One Oh Seven Three") and also adopted a Cumulus generic CHR logo with the "All The Hits" monicker, even though it's still Hot AC.
