According to NERW Chrissy Cavotta is going to mornings at Albany N.Y. market WYJB 95.5.A new morning show is starting there Sept 12.She is still on Frank in Portland as of today.

Actually, yes I am leaving beautiful Portland, Maine. I am doing mornings on Fly 92.3 in Albany...not 95.5. I loved my time here at Frank, but I am from the Albany area and I couldn't resist knowing that I could have my mom's eggplant or sausage and peppers anytime. I start Sept 12th!

Looks like it's up to Bill Fox and Leif Erickson to save the sinking ship now. you're gonna need some bigger buckets, gentlemen, the SS Frank is sinking fast. It's kinda funny watching it from a Blimps-eye view!

So ThreeFer..let's see if I have this right. On WBLM, they proudly promote they'll give you the chance to drive a Harley Davidson for a day while at the same time, on WFNK, they're actually giving one away???

It's an old radio ploy. If you've been in the business for awhile you know that. It's the same thing as giving the listener $100 an hour for listening. On some stations, that's the only way since some of the playlists only rotate 75 or 80 songs over and over and over.... It gets pretty boring after awhile. So what do you, as a station operator, do? Pay 'em off.
Too bad the listeners make more than the employees that actually work there....

I'm sorry, you couldn't pay me to sit in an office and wait for a cue to call while being bombarded with Jim Croce songs and lame rock trivia questions. If your music sucks, people won't listen. The recent book proved that.
Nassau should just pull the plug now and save themselves the money and further embarassment.
