I'd appreciate it if you could give my station a listen. Check it out at www.chargeradio.com. I've only been involved in it seven months (one of my partners ran the station as freerock1.com before that).

I had a chance to listen today for the first time. It sounds great. I understand that some of the music may not be popular enough for terrestrial radio. Although, there are a few stations rising up airing this type of music like CALL-FM in Miami. I am sure there is an audience for it and hopefully there is a way to get the word out on the existence of your station. "The NeedHim" ads that was placed in the rotation of music was also cool. As it was mentioned in a previous post, I have to agree that God uses all, rather it is terrestrial, satellite, internet radio or simple word of mouth.

The site looks great, William! Continued best wishes on your station.

DJ Lenks (Matt) has a Live365 station at xmusiconline.com

And, my new classic CCM station called MUSIC OF NEW LIFE will be on Live365
as well, plus it will have other distribution (iTunes, iRadio, TiVo and such.
It's turned into a bigger project than I first thought!) I'm ironing out the final details with Live now and expect to launch in about a month.
In the music so far, I've seen Steve Archer, Kim Boyce, Steve Camp, Steven Curtis Chapman (from the very first song), David and the Giants, Farrell and Farrell, Amy Grant, Janny Grein, Honeytree, Dallas Holm, Imperials, Phil Keaggy, Mastedon, David Meece, Michael and Stormie Omartian, Silverwind, Truth,
Kathy Troccoli, Sheila Walsh..and that was just at first glance.

Of course, I know it's not for everybody, but for those who like this kind of music, it will bring back the sound of that era.

I will let you know when the actual launch date is.
______________

Thanks for the compliments!

January 3, curiously enough, was our second best day ever in terms of listenership, with most of our listenershp that day coming from the Wichita/Hutchinson, KS-NE area.

In addition to the NeedHim PSAs, we also run evangelism and edification messages from Groundwire, Breakfree ("God in a New York Minute"), Lifeline Productions, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, SHE Teen, KJ=52, X3Church.com, the Presbyterian Appalachin Broadcasting Council, Crossway's Bibles for Life, as well as a number of individual testimonies (including Joe Rojas of Seventh Day Slumber and Kevin Young of Disciple).

If you want to send me your mailing address to william [at] chargeradio [dot] com, I can send you some bumper stickers.
______________

I definitely will send you an email. I have been listening to chargeradio.com for last two hours while working out and doing some household chores. It definitely makes those activities much easier and it is great that I don't have to wear out my CDs everytime I want to hear good music.

I never thought I would hear the phrase "I've been jammin to "Walk Across HeaveN'. Remember the song well, good song but "Jammin" is a bit overstated. Check us out sometime www.KNET180radio.com
