Well, honestly, it is not an exclusively Christian shop, but iTunes seems to have a nice Christian section, even with exclusive singles or EPs from artists like Jeremy Camp. Also, from time to time, tobymac and Relient K have been available as free downloads. There are usually from 2 to 4 songs available free each week. I would say (IMO) that a surprisingly large number of them are Christian or could be considered positive music, even if not explicitly "vertical" in nature.

I also have signed up (free) to AllAccess.com - they have a Christian section that has free streaming audio of most recent single releases. The only downside here is that some songs are no longer the complete song; there may be just the first 1:30 or 2:00 of certain songs. I would say that AllAccess is mainly intended for PDs and other actual radio station employees, but it's perfectly okay to sign up and indicate that you are a "radio listener" only. Also they often send emails on behalf of record labels, and I have actually gotten a few free downloads this way; sometimes they are only free streams, but free is free. :)

Believe it or not, walmart.com has a very good selection of a broad variety of Christian artists at only $0.88 each.

You can find some freebies of some harder rock Christian bands at PureVolume. Some bands will offer a couple tracks for free download, while others will simply post some songs to stream. I have tracks from Paul Wright, Anberlin, Spoken, Hawk Nelson, BarlowGirl, and more. There is a lot of Christian screamo and hardcore too, like Underoath, Zao, Mortal Treason, etc.

I too am interested in good places to find Christian tracks as well. Good post idea.

Anywhere that you can PAY for your download. Support the artists.

The labels offer one where they dump the new music, so does Billboard.
