I too noticed the interference today involving WMBR and the Maine station, here in Beverly.
Former had Brit group Soft Boys (feat Robyn Hitchcock) doing I Wanna Destroy You while religious station had talk cutting in

Are they even on the air anymore ?

I think they are, with limited live dj hours maybe, perhaps with automation.

An Ipswich based (Newbury-licensed)LPFM tried to get on air perhaps with a shared freq at times, but fell short.
