You're probably wondering what a topic with such a title is doing in the New England TV thread. Well, if you notice, it turns out that now-superstar Christina Aguilera's first interview ever just happened to be on dinky little ABC6 from Providence, RI. I have to say I actually find this amazing. You don't hear of Providence media to be the first to broadcast things, let alone WLNE. I know WLNE has always struggled with ratings, and they especially did back then. I never really watched WLNE, but it looks like this was like a special segment they had on the news. I'd really love to get some more information on how this came about, and how they got her in the studio. In other words, why did it have to be in Providence, and not ... Boston, or somewhere else?
