Christine Craft has been and continues to do talk at KGO...(fifteen years) check out www.kgo.com "personalities". Enid Goldstein co-hosted the garden show on sunday mornings there over a decade ago and did a very nice job.
 
Wow! What a neat surprise to see you here Christine (if that really is you). I'm new here. I'm a huge KGO fan. Have been for about 30 years. I always like your show. You're cool. Very quick witted. You're very fair with your callers. I'm a military brat too. I agree with you a lot, but not about meat. I am a meat cutter. I work at one of the Lunardi's markets. It's ironic that I ended up a meat cutter because at one time, I wanted to be a vet.
I was wondering if you could tell us why Shann Nix no longer is a KGO host. Did she just decide to spend more time with her kid? Maybe it's none of our business why she left. I mean I don't explain to customers the reason each butcher leaves my store. That wouldn't be professional.
BTW, my name is Larry. "HCochet" is for Henri Cochet, a tennis player from the 1920s & 30s

who the hell is fred hoffman..is that the garden guy with the weed-killer sponsors?? The adorable Ms. Nix is happy in Europe(not Paris) with a beautiful new son and hubby. She is still writing fun plays and is as always a kick in the pants!!

Yes, Fred is that garden guy, though I don't know about the "weed-killer sponsors." "Get Growing w/Farmer Fred" was on 650 KSTE for years on Sunday mornings. Fred's a master gardener, and funny as hell. Once upon a time, the overnighter on 1140 KRAK back in its country era.
 
Fred Hoffman!!!

Fred was also at KZAP. One of the nicest folks in this biz. I worked with him a couple of places for a number of years. And you should check out his tomatoes!!!
