Christine Nagy Joins Lite FM Morning Show

From radioandrecords.com "Street Talks":

Former WHTZ (Z100)/New York Z Morning Zoo member Christine Nagy becomes a part of clustermate WLTW's morning show, joining Bill Buchner and weatherman Nick Gregory.

I forget, was this her decision or Clear Channel's decision. If it was her decision, what was she thinking? The Z Morning Zoo is a much more exciting, entertaining, and fun filled radio show. The Lite FM morning show means sleep time for me. Maybe she will make the boring morning show more entertaining, but who knows. Just my opinion.

My question is if they are the highest billing station in New York City and if they do so well book after book why do they have to do this?

Maybe someone at Clear Channel feels since everyone else has a team then they should too.

They can do it simply because they can. As opposed to a competitor who is playing with the house's money to try and dethrone Lite because - there *is* no competitor. Plus the amount of music in the morning hasn't changed dramatically, so I think this change probably would not affect ratings.

Well, Nick Gregory is on Lite FM too, but mostly talks about weather.

Yes, I doubt ratings would be affected.
