Christmas Across The Lands

From the News-Press:

Media Matters

A holiday tradition that stretches around the world is coming to life again right here in Southwest Florida. Randy Sherwyn, the program director for Sunny 106.3 FM, is hosting his annual "Christmas Across the Lands" show - a 12-hour Christmas radio special that airs locally, nationally and internationally.

I enjoy listening to this show. I'll definitely tune in when I can.

Thanks for the heads up; this is a good program; too bad that the Ft. Myers market is the only market in Florida airing it; for those near a computer on Christmas day, it can be steamed from the Ft. Myers' stations or WIND 560 out of Chicago

Thanks for the nice words about "Christmas Across the Lands".

Besides Ft. Myers streaming, www.sunny1063.com from 12/24 6am till 12/25 6pm, it's also airing in St. Augustine Pensacola, and Oyster Bay. Tho I believe 2 of those are AM's.

You can also find it on "itunes radio" starting at 12:01am 12/24 via Planet Hits Radio.

I don't have any inside info, it's my show! ;D

Happy Holidays!

I had asked in another post if this program would return this year. I tuned in to Sunny 106.3 and, sure enough, there it was.

Gotta hand it to Randy Sherwyn for putting together a good Christmas program.

This is an excellent Christmas program. I'm listening to it now online. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year 2011 to everyone

From the News-Press:

Christmas radio show reaches troops

Once again, a dedicated Southwest Florida radio guru will be keeping thousands of American troops company this Christmas as he broadcasts holiday music and stories around the world. Randy Sherwyn is the mastermind behind Christmas Across the Lands, a 12-hour radio program filled with classic Christmas music along with holiday-themed material. Sherwyn, who is the program director at Sunny 106 FM, has been creating his holiday special for 12 years now.

Thank you Randy Sherwyn for airing a wonderful special.
