Christmas comes to Sacramento

98.5 HD2 is now all Christmas. Put on hold is the regular programing (simulcast of ESPN 1320) Could that mean a flip?
 
You are saying that KYMX hasn't flipped yet? I thought almost every station that goes all-Christmas during the holidays does it the Friday before Thanksgiving, if not sooner. I wonder why KYMX is waiting, while people are buying their turkeys and Christmas gifts already?

It is odd that Entercom has replaced 1320's Sports format on 98.5's HD2 channel. But I think there is an order that Entercom is putting Christmas music on an HD subchannel in all its markets. It replaced Smooth Jazz in NYC on WNEW-FM 102.7-HD2. I would guess that on Dec. 26, they all go back to their previous formats, ESPN in Sacramento and Smooth Jazz in NYC.
