Christmas comes very early to Phoenix

KEZ has already announced on their web site - The flip to Christmas Music takes place Wednesday, November 6 at 5:15pm. Probably the first day of the ratings book?

Hey, why not do it in a ratings period that matters? The holiday monthly doesn't. No one this year will take on the 800lb Xmas gorilla known as 99~Nine.

May be very early in Phoenix, but there's markets that flip to Xmas music on 11/1. Or even 10/31, in the case of 106.1 More FM (960 AM) in Tri-Cities WA. To me, that's ridiculous. But there are ho-ho-ho fans and they want their ho-ho-ho NOW...

I personally can’t wait for the Christmas music to come to Phoenix! I miss the year-round Christmas station KEZ had running for a couple years on KEZ HD-2. When I was in Seattle last month, I was shocked to see they have a year-round Christmas station on KRWM 106.9 FM HD-2. That’s dedication right there!

The Holiday is its own book. It starts December 5th. Do I get extra credit?

Absolutely...plus we'll give you our two page book on radio with the 85 page forward by the Old Gringo! Knowledge is always rewarded at the Buckeye Media Hut.

In addition to free parking.

It isn't actually free. There is no charge for parking while the Media Hut Security officer is away participating in Taco Tuesday celebrations down at the Testy.....er, Tasty Taco Truck (and chicken fat removal vehicle).

Free parking is only $5.00 an hour. Imagine the joy derived when walking across our unpaved lot while listening to all Ho-Ho-Ho music beginning next month on KEZ!

Remember that, like Charles Dickens, I am paid by the word.
