Christmas Day Snowstorm coverage in the Piedmont Triad

  • Thread starter GoodTimesandGreatOldies
  • Start date

Staffs have been dwindled down to nothing. For the appropriate coverage you would need radio reporters and several news anchors. Management doesn't do overtime pay and also there are no local forecasters on the radio.

Who wants to listen to two people in a studio not out in the weather talking about what it is "probably" like outside. Would they just beg for phone calls? Or get another generic weather report from Pennsylvania or Washington DC?

Atleast with TV there's a local forecaster.

Guess you are right! I just wanted to jerk their chain a bit.. I think it was humerous that the one European Model denton kept making light of was the one that was right!.. I probably have more computer models on my computer than Channel 8 has.
But WGHP has computer weather models, not the other kind (that they show, I mean). :)
