On December 24, the station will air seasonal Jazz selections from 6-8 pm. From 8 pm to midnight, Christmas Eve with Oedipus returns, taking listeners on a journey through some of the most spectacular and rarely heard holiday music listeners have never heard, rare tracks from rock, hip hop, classical, spoken word, ethereal, and more. The show culminates in Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" at midnight. Christmas Eve with Oedipus has aired on 89.7 FM and streamed on wgbh.org every year since 2015.
