Christmas flip

KRKI 99.5 (the station with nobody home) has apparently flipped to Christmas. What if a station flipped and nobody noticed?

Another fine example of Badlands Broadcasting broadcasting expertise.

After the holidays, KRKI will become "ESPN 99.5", Rapid City's first all-sports station. They have no staff so I imagine that it will be just network content, nothing local. All the local sports teams are already covered on existing radio stations.

Ahh... this link verifies the rumor:

With most (if not all) of the local sports teams already affiliated with existing RC stations, along with some signal issues in RC, how well do you think the new format will do?

There's no way for a civilian to really know how any station does in Rapid City. The Arbitron 12+ ratings have not been made public in the 6 years I have lived here.
