Buffalo Christmas in July?

I was surprised yesterday in downtown Buffalo to see a bus ad for 96.1 advertising Christmas music starting Nov 1. Or, this being Buffalo, has that poster been on the side of that bus since last year?
 
The Hallmark Channel airs Xmas movies in July, so seeing that bus ad wouldn't be shocking. The Xmas overkill swallowed Halloween years ago and has become a year round nuisance in many sectors...
