Christmas in Pensacola

P

Professor

Guest
As y’all know, my unending admiration for My 107.3/Pensacola is, well, unending. As I wrote earlier, when the station went all Christmas back in November, I was a bit dubious. All Christmas, all the time?!

Well, after all the trepidation of the past year, what with the hurricanes here, political corruption of honored Pensacola officials, the war, etc., when I heard “We Need a Little Christmas,” I thought, “yeah, we do, don't we?!” It was as if they knew me. Heck, it is MY station.

Now, I am thinking it might be soon time to leave the Christmas format. The gift of music My 107.3 has given us has allowed us the time to stop and reflect that we needed. Maybe now, it's time to move forward. Perhaps after – say – Sunday, I might be ready for the format as it was before the Holidays. Again, My 107.3 is great at knowing what I want before I know it myself. ‘Ya think they might anticipate what I am thinking and return to My 70s and My 80s early next week?

But, no matter what they do, they’ll always be my station… My 107.3!

-Professor.

Shades of Sammy's

Don't know quite what it is, but something about your writing style reminds me of the old Sammy's radio commercials. Just a hint of sarcasm...

Don't worry--it's a compliment!
