Christmas is coming...

WALK-97.5 may go all-Christmas even sooner that November 25th.

If WKJY-98.3 goes all-Christmas prior to WALK, WALK will have to quickly follow suit in order to avoid losing it's position in the marketplace as "Long Island's Christmas Station".

And WALK owner Christmas Channel (Clear Channel) is the most agressive company as regards all-Christmas formats.

You can't just assume about the "quickly follow suits". I forget the situation last year, but WALK went all Christmas Thanksgiving weekend and still came out on top, I think. Plus WALK's signal is stronger than KJOY's. Maybe WALK isn't worried?

Opinion wise, November 25th is a great date to start. <P ID="signature">______________
