Christmas K-104.7

Pretty sure this is a record for not having all Christmas music on the Queen City airwaves the weekend before Thanksgiving! Now that WLYT is defunct, I guess the folks at CBS Radio don't see the need to flip as early. I find it odd given how hugely successful WKQC was last year having the Christmas pie to themselves.

Love or hate it, you have to admit it drives ratings up and likely billing as well. With Thanksgiving being so late this year, I have to say I wasn't expecting the Christmas music to be late as well!

They had better have done it before yesterday's parade.

Only two radio stations were represented. I don't even remember what kind of entry K-104.7 had. Or what the other station was.

Looks like 104.7 HD2 has been swapped with HD1. The HD2 channel, which used to play 70s is now playing todays music. I guess they dropped the 70s format.

What does this mean exactly?

I can now confirm K-104.7 is Christmas music.

A DJ talked between two versions of "Little Drummer Boy". Given what we know about voice-tracking, I'd say there was no DJ.
