Christmas K / Lite ratings

I was a bit surprised to see the Dec 20th 12+ numbers. Lite #3 K #9???

This dispite the fact every where I went K was on the radio and I didn't hear Lite anywhere. Very strange!
 
The latest trend only represents through the first two weeks of November.
The next ratings will be the Fall book including December.
Won't see the impact of Christmas music 'til then.
 
After Lite did so poorly last year I figured (hoped) they wouldn't go all Christmas this year. Actually, I have a car button for them, so it's just as well they did, because sometimes the best music is there.

But we may see that they solved their problem by doing away with "lite" music and just keeping the name. Until Mix 106 changed, I monitored Lite hoping to hear outrageous stuff because it meant success for my station. Now I'm not so sure. It was mostly the satellite format, but Mix seems to have filled the gap. I was hoping people would just listen without any changes.
 
You would think in this day of ratings selling, that buyers would catch on to the Christmas music thing! Don't buy based on the fall book - but buy the Christmas station in November and December! Ratings are useless when the return to the regular format!
