Christmas Movies and Specials

It might sound silly to some but way back when (1986) when I started in radio, the people I worked for would never have allowed you to promote anything on another medium because if people were watching TV, they couldn't be listening to you.

That didn't (and still doesn't) stop radio stations from accepting commercials from - wait for it - TV stations. Particularly during a "sweeps" month.

The link doesn't list "Yogi's First Christmas" this Sunday at 2:30 PM on Boomerang.

I hear that's Marc's favorite. ::)

There is a lot of garbage out there masquerading as a Christmas special or movie too, although NBC did show Miracle On 34th Street Thanksgiving. Whatever happened to Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus? We have all this crap with Santa's children, a young woman needing a boyfriend for Christmas, a real nice witch...you know, garbage that shows on places like Hallmark. Real junk.
