Christmas Music 2022

The Holiday Season maybe a few weeks off, but which radio station do you think will go All-Christmas this year?

Here is my prediction...KOIT, KBAY and maybe The Breeze!

Has the first station flipped yet? I don't remember which market it was in, but last year one of the RD boards was talking about a station that flipped on 10/31.

I know it doesn't count because we're internet-only, but our Christmas channels are up now:

KBRG tried all-Christmas in Spanish once, and it cost them about 70% of the AQH audience. There is no such thing as "Spanish language all-Christmas" programming because there is very, very little music.

Same goes for Hanukkah music. Not enough to program a station.

In Europe they don't have Thanksgiving so the Christmas season starts mid-late October in many places. (We start ours early because of our international audience). It's not like there is much in terms of Halloween or Thanksgiving music.
