With the list growing of stations playing Christmas Music, who will be the first in Northwest Arkansas to hang the stocking and go all Christmas? That could include Little Rocks as well.
Noticed this morning that no station in NWA is playing Christmas music to get the shoppers out. This is one the only markets not playing Christmas. KLRC played it over the weekend but was back to regular format this morning. If I remember Magic 107.9 played it last year, but this year it is Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and Michael Jackson. Magic has really gone down hill this year.
radioaircheck - We played 2-3 Christmas songs on Power 105.7 starting on Thanksgiving Day and through the weekend. We continue to sprinkle the songs into our playlist each day as well.
KFFB-FM 106.1 in Fairfield Bay has incorporated some Christmas music into their rotation. I noticed this the day after Thanksgiving.
BTW, this station is a guilty pleasure of mine. With a decent radio, their signal easily makes it into Conway. Some of us really *do* like the Carpenters, Barry Manilow, Bread, Gordon Lightfoot, etc. We're not all retirement age, either!
yup, I see all the area around us playing it. I won't sit to trashy teeny bop msuic on power 105.7 just to hear Christman Music. I think KLRC will play it on the weekend. I will listen to sports radio then
