It looks like some markets are starting to play Christmas already. It does not appear that anyone in this market will play Christmas, except for Delila at night.

Christmas Music in NWA

Maybe 1390 should be singing "Feliz Navidad de KFFK 1390".. I mean, they picked dropped Spanish and picked up ESPN Sports simply because they wanted to try and compete with 1290/105.3.
I bet Spanish would be a better bet for them, plus I haven't heard of stations flipping to SPANISH Christmas music.. they could be a groundbreaker, and actually have an original thought for once.

Somebody should play the ENTIRE John Denver/Muppets christmas album, then follow it up with Bob & Doug doin the 12 days of christmas, then play ALL of the Twisted Sister christmas album......
Maybe the Eagle can give John & Deek a rest and do this......(Every time I tune into the Eagle , all I hear is either Jon Or Deek, or "933 The Eagle, your home for Aerosmith", and then a Van Halen tune comes on....)

l like to listen to Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN. I am glad that is there. We don't need anymore spanish stations.
Finally got XM and found 2 Christmas Channels. I guess everyone here in NWA are scrooges because you can't hardly get anyone to play Christmas. The is the only market that is not playing it!

for someone who hates NWA radio and everyone who works here you post quite a lot on these boards. I was in the market for a couple days over the weekend and most of the stations I heard were playing Christmas 1-3 times per hour including KKEG, KYNF, KKIX, KMCK, KQSM and that's just what I recall.

I have yet to hear a station go 100% xmas but add KMCK to that list because they're spiking the usual xmas suspects throughout the day.
