Christmas Music on air in Atlanta

The Fish kicked off Christmas music this morning around 7:45. Montell Jordan, of This is How We Do It fame, helped them kick it off with a Christmas remix of his Christian AC hit, "Shake Heaven."

And then they'll start automating night shifts and put on a playlist of about 12 Christmas songs.

You have to give B98.5 credit, they don't burn a lot of Christmas songs--they mix it up pretty good.

B98 debuted at 12:01 exactly! 11 Xmas song in a row before a commercial!

They've also put their 80s, 90s, Now stuff of 97.1 HD2, ending the river's extra format and that old raggedy the beat.

Maybe those even more observant than I can answer this. As it gets closer to Closer and especially on Christmas Eve is it just me or do the stations that have been playing Christmas playing the same 150 or so cuts open up the playlist a lot and play songs that they haven't played all season, especially if the Commercials are dropped as several station do on Christmas?
